ComeUNITY engagement leader to advance nonprofit collaboration, purposeful programming and place-based impact.

ST. LOUIS — October 26, 2026 — Felice McClendon, inaugural executive director of Delmar Main Street, transitions to program director at Delmar DivINe, effective October 26. McClendon will build on her commitment to community-centered revitalization by strengthening programming, partnerships and engagement among organizations serving the central corridor.
Drawn to the Delmar corridor by the opportunity to bridge divides, elevate community voices and expand access to resources, McClendon believes thriving communities are built when people and organizations work together toward shared purpose.
“For me, this feels less like a first day and more like the next aligned step in continuing to grow where I’ve been planted,” McClendon said. “I’m excited to keep INspiring and INnovating the culture and power of people along the Delmar corridor. There is still so much work to do to strengthen the healthy foundation that connects community well-being, opportunity and the social determinants of health.”
McClendon said the transition comes at an exciting time as Delmar DivINe advances plans for Phase 2 expansion, with new programming opportunities and facility features on the horizon.
“Delmar DivINe brings together nearly 40 nonprofit organizations and partners already connected by place-based purpose, vision and mission,” she said. “It is meaningful to ensure that organizations like Delmar Main Street remain valued strategic partners alongside our broader tenant community. The opportunity is to turn proximity into intentional partnership, shared learning and measurable community impact.”
For McClendon, that collective potential is the power of comeUNITY.
“comeUNITY is what happens when people move beyond sharing a place to sharing purpose…connecting voices, resources and relationships to create possibilities no one organization could achieve alone,” she said. “I am honored to work alongside Kevin Poe and the Delmar DivINe team. There is unending ‘Poe’-tential when like-minded catalysts come together to reduce barriers, expand access to resources and create purposeful programming that helps people and communities thrive.”
Located in the former St. Luke’s Hospital on Delmar Boulevard, Delmar DivINe brings together nonprofit, academic and public sector organizations and partners working across health, education and human services.
